How ParkSign works
ParkSign is an AI parking sign reader for UK drivers. You upload or photograph a parking sign, and ParkSign checks the sign against the current time, day, date, timezone, and your saved driving context to explain whether you can park right now.
What ParkSign looks at
ParkSign is designed for common UK parking scenarios, including parking signs, yellow lines, permit bays, controlled parking zones, paid parking bays, loading restrictions, maximum stay rules, no-return rules, vehicle-specific restrictions, and Blue Badge context.
What the verdicts mean
- Yes: parking appears allowed right now with no extra task.
- Yes, if: parking appears allowed only after a required action, such as buying or displaying a valid ticket, holding a permit, obeying a time limit, or using the correct vehicle bay.
- No: parking does not appear allowed right now.
- Maybe: the sign, photo, or rule is unclear.
Why paid parking is not a plain yes
If the sign says parking is allowed only after payment, ParkSign treats that as conditional. The result should make clear that you can park only if you buy or display a valid ticket, use the required payment app, or follow the payment instructions on the sign.
What ParkSign is not
ParkSign is a practical guide, not legal advice or a local authority decision. Parking signs, road markings, payment machines, temporary suspensions, and council rules can change. Always check the physical sign, the road, and any local payment instructions before leaving your vehicle.
